this paper clarifies the important of life cycle cost on building projects and explains the effect of 
accuracy estimate of the total life cycle cost on building projects. In addition, this paper aims to provide general 
concepts about the field of life-cycle costing. The purpose is to provide the essential backgrounds which will assist 
the stakeholders to understand the benefits of implementation of life cycle cost in the building projects.
