In recent years, interest in Hanok, a traditional Korean style, has increased, and the number of users has also increased. Currently, the use of public buildings is relatively small compared to the fact that Hanok is used as a lodging and experience facility. So it is required to improve the usability of public buildings and studied the way. This research has defined public buildings in Hanok and classified them into three categories according to the structural standards. We analyzed the characteristics of each type, and based on the last features, this research has suggested a checklist for usability evaluation by deriving eight factors such as elevation plan, reflecting human-centered elements, territory, locality, circulation planning, barrier-free planning, convenience, and communal space planning.
