Paper Title
Mild Steel and Cast Iron Corrosion in Various NaF Concentration Solutions and Composite Water
Abstract
A study have been carried out to investigate the effect of fluoride ion concentration, immersion period on
corrosion behaviour of mild steel and cast iron by adding sodium fluoride from 1- 50 ppm in the corrosive water. Our results
reveal that fluoride ion concentration as well as period of immersion does not have a significant effect on the corrosion rate
in compression to the other salts studied before.
