Paper Title
A Case Study On The Flow Parameters Of River Pagladiya, A Tributary Of Brahmaputra

Abstract
Silt is a fine sediment that collects on the bottom of rivers, streams and lakes. The natural process of the decay of organisms into the water can lead to the production of silt at the bottom of a lake. Silt can be introduced in the streams by mining, agriculture and other industries and sewage. The aim of the project is to record periodical observations of a tributary flowing into the river Brahmaputra , to record its different properties viz. amount of silt carried, velocity during the period, cross-sectional properties etc. and to study its various aspects and then recommend some enhancing engineering solutions. Index Terms— Discharge, River Erosion, Silt load, Velocity.
