Paper Title
Physiochemical Analysis For Upstream Stretch Of River Tapi

Abstract
Assessment of water quality can be defined as the analysis of physical, chemical and biological characteristics of water. Water quality is considered to be a key contributor to both health and the state of disease for humans. The study was carried out on the river Tapi at eight sampling sites on the upstream stretch of river Tapi. Water samples were analyzed for various Physiochemical parameters. It was observed that the all physiochemical parameters were within the WHO guidelines for drinking water, except pH and Turbidity. pH of Tapi river was found slightly alkaline. Overall quality of water is found as suitable for drinking water. Keywords— Physico chemical , microbial, Tapi Rive.
