Abstract : Abstract - Covid-19 pandemic has yield huge obstacles to global development pace, it has impacted a huge fraction of population almost everyone in some way or other. In this we aim to explore the impact of pandemic on college towns, where local economy is heavily reliant on students and educational Institutions. These towns have be drastically impacted by covid even MIT, Cambridge and cornel university. One of Asia’s oldest institution IIT Roorkee has been analysed with the impact of pandemic, The economic impact, student’s behaviour towards safety, potential vulnerable location have been obtained. Further, spread of diseases has been simulated using SIR model and finally a set of strategies along with tactical urbanism have been proposed.
